This is done at airports all the time to deal with delays and other scheduling issues. This would be useful if a flight is delayed at the gate and the next flight needs to be assigned to a different gate. Suggestion for a feature to address this issue: The user can double-click on a flight in the status popping up a window window that allows the user to change the assigned gate. These flights would eventually be delayed and then canceled with the message, "Failed to reserve gate." Any changes made to the schedule including gate assignments will not be reflected until the next day schedule. I shifted the assigned gate in the schedule, I noticed in the Status screen that the flights that I moved now show a '?' instead of the gate assignment. When I loaded a saved game I had flights too close to each other assigned to the same gate. โพสต์ดั้งเดิมโดย leangze:There's a problem with assigning gates, flights seem to have ? more often now even though they're assigned etc, I can send a save +1 on thatĪs soon as you move a flight manually in the flightplan, it seems that the next valid day, planes that were assigned gates manually are not registering planned gate as a valid one.īeeing able to assign gates manually should not turn off the ability of planes to find available gates by themselves, but planes with assigned gates should always be prioritized. This should/usually will almost immediately trigger the Steam client to pull down the latest version if you don't already have it. Sometimes Steam doesn't update you right away you can force it to update by right clicking SimAirport, select the 'Local Files' tab at the top, and then click the 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button. Select the 'BETAS' tab at the top, and then choose the 'experimental' option from the dropdown. Open Steam, right click on SimAirport & choose 'Properties'. More will be coming this week of course we're still working on a few fixes from saves & reports we've received as well as a few of the bigger things we mentioned in yesterday's main patch notes. Latest Experimental Version Timestamp: March 23 ~10:30PMĬheck your game version via the game's main menu, just under the heading.
